I am still stunned, even though it is nearly 24 hours later. The Caps are going to the playoffs as the #3 seed in the Eastern conference (by virtue of winning the Southeast division). Stop my heart. I hope we can get playoff tickets! I don't remember the last time I saw a playoff game in person.

My sister, Liz, has officially become a fan, to boot. I bought her an Alex Ovechkin jersey to egg her on. I hope it arrives by Wednesday, when they play their first game against the Flyers!!
